Management

   Mark Adkins, CEO and Founder, earned his J.D. at Harvard Law School. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas with a 4.0 g.p.a. and a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program with an emphasis in Economics. Mr. Adkins is a member of the Texas Bar. Previously, Mr. Adkins worked at the strategic consulting firm McKinsey & Co. as well as several law firms, including Clearly, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York and Bracewell & Patterson in Houston.

   Ted Sichelman, President and Co-founder, graduated from Harvard Law School, earning his J.D. magna cum laude. He also graduated from Florida State University with an M.S. in Physics and a 4.0 g.p.a., and holds an A.B. with distinction in Philosophy from Stanford, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Previously, Mr. Sichelman founded and served as Vice President for My Agent, Inc., a premier web-based concierge service in Boston.

   Eric Spiegel, Vice President of Sales & Promotions, has extensive experience in the 1-800 sector. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales, Training & Quality Assurance for 1-800-USSEARCH.com. Mr. Spiegel was also Vice President of Operations for one of the early 1-800-DENTIST referral services. He has also held senior management positions with 1-800-A-LAWYER, Public Storage (1-800-44-STORE), and 1-800-FIX-CARS.

   John Arvanitis, Vice President of Business Development, holds an M.B.A. from the London Business School, where he received the Alumni Prize for his outstanding achievement. He graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, with a Bachelor of Commerce. Mr. Arvanitis has extensive brand management and business development experience, and has held management-level positions at the e-commerce company, Obongo; Canada’s largest grocery retailer, Loblaw Cos. Limited; as well as a strategic consultant position at A.T. Kearney.

   Martin Zilber, Advisor, is the President of the International Taxicab & Livery Association, North America’s largest and most prominent taxicab trade association. Previously, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Coach USA, the country’s largest taxicab company, and as President and Corporate Counsel for Metro Transportation Services of Miami, Florida.

   1-800-TAXICAB.com is also served by a number of strategic consultants who have expertise in the fields of wireless and Internet technology. Our Board of Advisors consists of prominent individuals from Harvard Business School, McKinsey & Co., HelloAsia.com, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
