do we promote the network brand in traditional media --- such

SafeRide program in conjunction with Major League Baseball teams
to promote taxicabs as a responsible alternative to drinking
and driving.

Services
At
the heart of our system is elegant but powerful routing technology:
passengers dial the toll-free number, 1-800-TAXICAB, and are
automatically routed to a taxicab company in their vicinity.
Through "automatic number identification" (ANI) and
"point-of-call" (POC) routing, we detect the caller’s
area code and telephone exchange and forward the call to our
affiliated taxicab company.
All
incoming calls to our network are meticulously documented by
date, time of day, and duration (in six-second increments) for
our members’ review.
Our
network currently offers valuable benefits to our members.

the emerging communications technology. With that crucial strategic
position, we are developing an array of services for our members.

Wireless
Technology: We will soon be making our network available
to passengers via web phones and wireless Palm devices. With
a simple click, riders will immediately be connected with
our affiliated taxicab companies.

Corporate
Clients: We are also adding major corporations as our
clients by unveiling our corporate voucher program, which
will give major companies a universal solution for their travel
and accounting needs.
·
SafeRide
Program: In conjunction with Major League Baseball teams
--- such as the Oakland As, Anaheim Angels, St. Louis Cardinals,
and others --- 1-800-TAXICAB.com is cosponsoring a national
SafeRide program to promote the use of taxicabs as a safe
alternative to drinking and driving. In fact, we’ve already
had our banners displayed at stadiums.

Online
Affiliate Program
Perhaps
our most promising area for expansion is the Internet. We are
excited to invite taxicab companies everywhere to join our Online
Affiliate Program. We offer two styles of membership with a
variety of services in each:
Internet-only
Membership
Taxicab
companies that sign up for an Internet-only Membership will
receive the following services:

Web
Site: We will construct a web site for our members using
a template
customized to the particular needs of each member.
·
Two
E-mail Accounts: Each company that becomes a member
of our program will receive two free e-mail accounts.
·
Web
Routes: For Internet-only Members, we will route all
online reservations to them for free for an entire year.
·
Delivery
Options: Members can choose to receive their online
reservations by either fax or email.
Premier
Membership
For
taxicab companies that sign up as members of our nationwide
toll-free telephone network, we will automatically enroll them
as Premier Members in our Online Affiliate Program. They will
receive all the services offered to our Internet-only Members,
plus the following services:

Unlimited
Web Routes: We will route online reservations to our
Premier Members for free forever.
·
Rider
Priority: If an online reservation is made in a market
serviced by both an Internet-only Member and a Premier Member,
we will give priority to the Premier Member.

Pricing
System
1-800-TAXICAB.com’s
pricing system is simple and transparent:
·
One-Time
Sign-Up Fee: Just a one-time fee when you first join, and
no recurring fees after that.
·
Fee
Per Call: Taxicab companies are charged a flat fee per
each routed call for all calls under two minutes. For calls
over two minutes, we charge a very small per minute fee, calculated
in six-second increments. For calls made from payphones in
the United States, member companies also pay the per call
tax levied by the federal government. We pick up all other
applicable taxes, surcharges, and fees.
·
Easy
Billing: Once a month, member companies receive a detailed
statement of all calls received during the prior month.
Because the bills come directly from our long-distance provider,
members can rest assured that they are charged only for
the calls routed from our toll free number, 1-800-TAXICAB.
